Safety & Welfare of Everyone
A & V Squires’ overall policy objective is to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of everyone engaged in, or affected by, our activities, and in particular to eliminate risks before health is damaged or accidents occur.
A & V Squires is committed to achieving a continual improvement in health and safety performance and will ensure sufficient resources are committed to achieve this goal. All personnel are expected to play a positive part in achieving this improvement.
In order that this policy is appropriate to our needs it will be reviewed periodically to ensure its ongoing relevance and suitability for A & V Squires Limited.
A & V Squires, through Directors and Managers, will meet our obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974 and all other relevant statute. A & V Squires Limited, in so far as is reasonably practicable, will provide safe plant and systems of work without risk to health. Also, such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure the health and safety of our employees and those who may be affected by its operations.
The organisation and arrangements for implementing the policy will be brought to the attention of all personnel by means of appropriate induction. The policy will also be available at each site and workplace for reference by any employee or other interested parties as required.
This statement of policy, applies to A & V Squires. It will be displayed prominently at all sites and workplaces.
